Had a meal here with my wife and son, and everything was really nice and well cooked. There's a good choice of drinks and a nice new menu. The staff are amazing and very friendly. The atmosphere was nice and relaxed as well. I would definitely recommend this place.

Well this was my first visit and I was blown away by the customer service and the food the lady who was serving had so much laughter and jokes it was nice to actually feel like you was in a home rather then in a restaurant the food came out and was amazing some could say way to much on the plate but honestly I can’t fault it the 5 of us really enjoyed the visit and I 100 percent would return thank you for making us feel so welcome and thank god I now know what gammon is !!

Went yesterday for family meal after visiting Blists hill.
Food was really good, staff were really friendly. Slight cock up with order but was quickly sorted out and quality of food easily made up for it.
Also dog friendly.

We called for lunch.
Lovely place, friendly staff member (only the one on at time of visit, apart from chef).
We ordered food, got our drinks & sat down.
For lunchtime, it was quite busy, a few bookings, with a large party for a birthday.
However, there was only one person on the bar & it would appear she was also the only person waiting on for food.
I heard a bell sound a few times, then
eventually the lady on the bar, having finished serving the influx of folk for the party, brought our food out.
It was beautifully presented, but sadly it was cold.
I would visit again, but I'd be sceptical about ordering food unless there were plenty of staff

Had my first visit here a couple of weeks ago. The team were super friendly and the pub interior was really comfy. The food portions are superb here and the quality is beyond what I expected. I'll be frequenting here more often for sure.

Where do I start with this place. Came here for a birthday meal and was extremely disappointed. First issue was it was freezing inside, the second issue was that the prices were astronomical. A tiny 6oz steak and chips was priced at £15.99 and the brownie was £6.25. The steak came well done even though I asked for medium, chips were horrible and partially stale. The brownie came stone cold, caked in tons of caramel which was sickly, alongside some extremely cheap ice cream. Was a horrible experience and will not be returning again!

Always super friendly staff and plenty of outdoor seating and dining space. Plenty of drink choices available and at very reasonable proces. Don’t let the appearance of the menu make you think this is a chain pub quality food.. the food is superb, and tastes very fresh. Highly recommend the mushroom and tarragon pudding!
